“We are the Children that Live in Love’s Lend”, a worship poem from L.Willows

Blending such beauty in blue skies that bend

Witness the heavens that reach here to send
Love in the bird’s song, the chorus in flight
Joy in the sun’s light, in springtime’s new brights.
All in the budding of wonders to be
We fill our hearts with God’s sweet mysteries.

Blending such beauty in blue skies that bend
We are the children that live in loves lend.
Witness the clouds misting dewdrops that fly
Into dawn’s early singing of heaven’s glorify.
All in the budding of life meant to be
God’s own love song to you and to me.

Psalm 27:4 “One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.”

Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.”

Isaiah 33:17 “Your eyes will behold the king in his beauty; they will see a land that stretches afar.”

“A Raindrop’s Thirst”….a poem from L.Willows

stormthunded

When thunder runs through the skies to burst
My soul does surge with a raindrop’s thirst.
Like a bird set high above in the sky,
With a reach that covers in clouds set to fly.

Cast like a seeming droplet between
All earth and heavens view of the seen.
Wonder fills my sky soaked all…
Sweeping, soaring, through God’s Holy squall.

when I look to the skies, I am always reminded of the Vastness of God and His word:

Isaiah 37:16
“O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, who is enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth You have made heaven and earth”
