Tomorrow Can See

Here in the Gift
is a newness that wakes
known as God Calling,
at the dawn of daybreak.

Burdens born then,
come round to the fore,
lifted like children, all
called to Love’s Door.

Here in our hearts
are rivers that pour.
Altars that pray,
they worship, they soar.

Tomorrow can see,
Love will be throughout time.
Given, our living,
forever, as Thine.

Sing, with rejoicing,
as the morrow comes near.
Our God of creation,
The Presence is here.

Isaiah 41:40 –“The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with … nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

“Worship in the Rains”, a prayer poem from L. Willows (Belonging to God, Courage, God’s Love Pours)

Worship in the Rains

Worship, we worship in the rains-
when the skies are pouring grey,
when parts come letting bare before,
the night that longs for the wake of Day.

Let the hearts, all hearts be there and dare
when the clouds let loose and part,
when the rains come forth and summon Light
and God gives Love, all of Life a start.

When the rains pray praise and lift our gaze.
These, His fields become a Door.
We worship Him. All hearts outpour.
There in the midst of former haze-
Our God is more. His Glory soars.

Prayer “We Fall Lovingly Forwards To You”

Father, Almighty God,

We look to you for all hope and with every part of our hearts.
We submit to your sovereignty and pray that our calling is filled with
the devotion of ones that run to the one that has filled them with blessings
and poured out the Spirit of His own son upon them.

We fall lovingly forward towards you, Lord
with gratitude for all that you have poured out upon us.
Our hearts open like vestibules that are thirsty to drink in your Spirit.
We leave behind anything that would hinder its entry.

Pour, Godly Good so that we can be refreshed by your comfort
and know the sweetness of your love throughout,
Help us each to put all hope in you and in you alone.
Increase our trust in the Eternal
and loosen our grip on the temporal

Father, we are yours, called by you and known by you
Help us, by the power of your Spirit,
to walk boldly forward with courage.
Let us dare to make choices that glorify you and not our own needs;
to live to see your Kingdom reign on earth and not our worldly wants;
to walk in the ways of your righteousness and not our own.

Lord, Almighty,
May we learn to join the chorus of joy that prevails and be witnesses to your Glory.
In Jesus Name,

Amen
