“Running Love’s Joy”, a worship poem from L.Willows (Joy, God’s love, seeing God)

Real joy sometimes weeps like waters that fall,
mountains streams seeking homes of blue
rushing toward freedom that holds it’s keep,
running love towards the source of joy’s reap.

Real joy sometimes lingers like the afternoon sun
wise and patient, slow, in love’s glow.
It sees golden glory through all the clouds,
it tells of God’s Story, the enduring enshroud.

Real joy sometimes races like a child in games glee
wandering, wondering, filled with such hope.
There we see everyone’s longing to be
in the arms of forever, with Tomorrow’s jubilee.

Real joy sometimes keeps its sweetness in the wind,
embracing, effacing, displaying designs-
gusting glad motion; lifting ravine divine.
A gift for us, dancing, Love running through time.

“Whispering Futures”, a worship poem from L.Willows (The Glory, God’s Presence, Heaven and Earth)

TREE0543_2018-1

There rises a Tree, tall and strong
Branches wide, they stretch far and long.
Aching not breaking, seeking the Sun’s light.
Found in the midst of a deep forest’s blight.

“Weep no more, besides my shade
beneath this earth’s deepened roots.
Reach the stories, speaking to tell-
cupped in God’s Spirit, watered well.”

Clouds form to treetops, they gather to sing,
whispering futures that angel harps note.
Mists rise from root to branches that sway,
There, comes tomorrow -in the Light of God’s Day.

In the joy of the last weeping, they stand, to tell,
“There rises a Tree, tall and strong
branches wide, they stretch far and long,
aching not breaking, in His Spirit, found well.

“Speak My Heart, Hope”, a worship poem from L.Willows (Prayer, Faith, God’s Peace)

Speak my heart, hope – it longs, it lasts,
throughout and until these times, it casts.

Let me be like a child,
taking sweet cover
in the great mist
of our God’s Great Hover.
How His peace stills,
how it becomes,
like a sky wrapping
soft clouds in its’ other.

Speak my heart – hope, it longs, it prays.
It whispers of Your Glory and bows with praise.
Tomorrow, find blessings for each and for all,
let us be a new dawn in Love’s mighty call.
