“Heart Windows at Dawn” poem from L.Willows (Holy Breath, Spirit of God, Arise)

Heart Windows at Dawn

Dawn breaks though my window here in the morn,

tapestries quake shadows on the cool still yet torn.

A heart wakes in wonder to turquoise lit skies;

hope leaps, I breathe- coming round in joy’s sigh.

Gentle winds lift curtains into dances of rhyme

into stories that tell, like keepers of time.

Hushed in the mists that rise in these hours,

Paradise enters heart windows from Divine.

Here the Dawn breaks. In living, life quakes.

Poured in God’s midst, I rise love at daybreak.
