“The Prayer’s Bouquet”, a worship poem from L.Willows

The Prayer’s Bouquet

Softness whispers lasting through all.
Steady hearts bear love’s sweetest call.

Reaching forward through all the night’s stretch,
This the bouquet that our sweet prayers fetch.

Peace the tone that colours dawn,
it brings all new to hope upon.

Rising sun joys warm, we gather to meet.
Prayers abound, Love bears, we greet.

Song of Solomon 1:3
The fragrance of your perfume is pleasing; your name is like perfume poured out. No wonder the maidens adore you.

Ephesians 5:2
and walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant sacrificial offering to God.

“Sealed in God’s Pew”, a worship poem from L.Willows (Faith, Prayer, Holy Spirit)

Sealed in God’s Pew

The moment’s quest in hearts’ full dare,
words spoken in sweet and silent hush,
wrapped in hope that leaps to be;

Prayers can see, they have gone There.

Into the vast of God’s heavenly might,
cast before All with full faith and loves bright.

Rising and living, like streams running new.
Set into Your Promise sealed in God’s Pew.

Psalm 69:13
But as for me, my prayer is to you, O LORD.
At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.

Hebrews 10:19
Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.

“Love’s View”….offered by LWillows

Love’s View

Remind me, unwind me, when life stirs a wave,
Swelling the fevers; uprisings that cave
My steadfast and ever belonging to You,
With Prayer and beseech Lord, give me Love’s view.

In all that today may bring to the fore,
I ask to be willing, courageous and more.
Would that I might be a vessel for Love
And usher the oceans of life as Above.
