“Godly Dare”, a poem by Linda Willows (Know God, Trust God, Love Forward)

Godly Dare, by L.Willows (2012)

With heart in tow, I advance upon dare
The life that I have, is paved with deep care.
I must not want nor lose myself there…
Even my breath could be lost somewhere.

Spinning upon a few stones in the path,
I steady, and feel the
lonesome of wrath.
Dizzying memories
bring heartbeat
to fast
Before
the earth
seizes,
my soul
in firm grasp.

Horizons each new
and painted deep blue-
They beckon my passion
to deeply know You.

I hasten
to leave any hindrance undue.
Godly Sights, sacred dare,
Oh, Keep me with you.

Joshua 1:9 –“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Ezekiel 1:12 —“And each went straight forward; wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went.”

The Joys’ Adore

Wonder fills with awe and praise;
Daybreak stills my heart to gaze,
Upon the silent thunder of…
Your Presence, Peace and sweetened Love.

Though burden and pains may break with the dew
All burdens do lift in sight Lord, of You…
Tumbled forth, oh given, saved, rumbled into,
the  Joy and Adore of Your first holy Pew.

With hand upon heart and bled dying parts
I pray with glee of their glory depart.
Oh all in this view must give to You
even hopes and dreams must stand in a queue!

Glory path you shine before
this given Heart, this joy’s adore.
Be ever more in me: Lord, I Wake…
Though thunderous cries may fall at daybreak.

“Heart of Peace”….. a poem by Linda Willows

Oh Soul, you surge, you arch in love
in gentle passion’s reach above…

For Heavens’ quest is nearer than
the length of Love, the Heart of Man.

Find me turning, find me Out
The Glory called, my name; Devout.

I hear the thunder of Joys’s rain,
Clouds part asunder, Light to gain.

Oh Soul, you let the every part,
come forward, bow and then depart.

Naked stillness forms the glove
of Godly Peace..given to Love.
