“The Love in Our Midst”, from L.Willows (See Jesus, trust God, unfolding Season)

Oh Blossom of yesterday, come forward, come near
Let Your fragrance be known, fill the springtime this year
Grant full Aroma, Sweet pouring from You-
Holy Spirit, Lord Jesus – come to us, be our view.

Show us your Glory, the beauty amidst.
Drawback our veils that hide Your Exist.
There are such blossoms that long to unfold
Everywhere budding, Your stories untold.

Here, we are called, There we beseech
All hands are upwards, asking, they reach.
Days turn to the season, times such as this
Lives in alone time; hearts reminisce.

Show us Your Glory, the Love in our midst.
Drawback our veils that hide Your Exist.
There are such blossoms that long to unfold,
Everywhere budding, Your stories untold.

Keep us beside You; soft held and dear.
Let Your fragrance be known, in the springtime this year.
Awaken the forsaken, bring all back to Thee.
Miracle, budding, blossom coming. We trust, we foresee.

Esther 4:14 –“For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Exodus 3:18 –Moses said, “Please show me your glory.” 19 And he said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name ‘The Lord.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.”

Psalm 143:8 –“Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.”

“Whispering Futures”, a worship poem from L.Willows (The Glory, God’s Presence, Heaven and Earth)

There rises a Tree, tall and strong
Branches wide, they stretch far and long.
Aching not breaking, seeking the Sun’s light.
Found in the midst of a deep forest’s blight.

“Weep no more, besides my shade
beneath this earth’s deepened roots.
Reach the stories, speaking to tell-
cupped in God’s Spirit, watered well.”

Clouds form to treetops, they gather to sing,
whispering futures that angel harps note.
Mists rise from root to branches that sway,
There, comes tomorrow -in the Light of God’s Day.

In the joy of the last weeping, they stand, to tell,
“There rises a Tree, tall and strong
branches wide, they stretch far and long,
aching not breaking, in His Spirit, found well.”

Revelation 22:16 -“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

“A Wind Through Reed’s Prayer”, worship poem from L.Willows

A Wind Through Reed’s Prayer

I have seen a place where we all rise
Where music awaits that lifts clouds to skies
All of the heavens are opened by gate
There in the roam of a paradise state.

Kept by a sweetness, I felt someone near
All of life’s friendships, everyone dear.
Touched by such heart-songs, there I could dance
All of the songs seemed called from life’s trance.

Here in the midst of such love, I was called
The joy of a river that worships, enthralled.
Stepping out from all that keeps us astray
A threshold beckoned and swept me away.

There were no tears in this quiet place bright
Sunshine of warmth beckoned all towards the light.
I cast off a shoe, then the other, then free
Soon I was dancing with another like me.

I remember the Motion that swept through me there
cast like some other; a wind through reed’s prayer.
This from a roam at some heavenly gate
I rose to a journey in the spirit’s elate.

Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

Psalm 30:11
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
