When last I looked, you were beside,
There on my right, in the path on the green
Deep in the hills of bounties so wide,
Rich in the depth of my memory’s tide.
With trails and songs gifted, joy found a tune,
All heaven and earth seemed new with hope.
Evenings were gathered with gratitude’s moon
Peace fell upon such pastures elope.
I walk in green paths and remember today,
Singing of treasures lost yet in this world-
Surrounded by a bounty of grace in Love’s sway.
You are here always near, my heart fells, you do stay.

John 15:15
“No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.”
James 2:23
“And the Scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”—and he was called a friend of God.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”
