In your lush green
I basque in peace seen.
Nature, your making,
becomes in love’s lean.

Sitting not lone
here in enthrall,
trees are called wondrous,
skies tell of all.

In your sweet green
I fall to a soft song,
swaying in rhythm;
the view is stretched long.

Sitting not lone
here in paradise sown,
God’s pew calls all to-
a love of his own.

Joy Comes in The Morning

Joy comes in the morning.
Faith rises, it deepens, renewed.
We live on with lives ever seeking,
hope in the day of Love’s view.

Come, walk in the dawning.
Pray – call forth His song.
Life, as stirred in the making.
Hearts, all awakened and strong.

Joy comes in the morning.
Faith rises, it deepens, renewed.
We walk on with lives ever God-ward
wrapped to full in hope’s glory, gratitude.

In pond where all meets the home of life’s art
Gather drifts that circle to rise in my heart.
Each drawn towards the dawn of sun’s morning restart,
Rays warming, all giving, they lift up to part.

Seeking, such lightness, the tenderness of
Love descending, reaching deeply,
Into all life’s cupped glove.

Pond heart meeting Thou art from the still,
I wait upon All in the drift of Your will.
Sweetly I linger, I soak in Love’s vein,
Basking, ever basking in the warmth of Your Reign.
