In Solitaire ~a poem by Linda Willows

In solitaire, I walk this morn,
with none but light’s soft hue adorn.
Within this path that finds my soul,
I pray Gods’ keeping, life found whole.
For in taking of all things;
such swift removal times can bring…

I root myself upon one Bright
and hold Thy stance with all my might…
In solitaire the Soul is known
begotten, loved and never Lone.

Petals beneath my footsteps ~a poem by Linda Willows

Petals deep silken fall beneath my footsteps,
I linger to feel each round cloud that soft lets.
Wanderings embrace of Love’s kindness retraced.
Oh, a bounty brings near such never-ending Grace.

Silver strands weave into budding new Heart,
announcing the tellings of shining path’s start.
Pull all of the sweetness, the flower, the rose,
make a parcel of this and see peace in repose.

Would that the droplet of this magical, such feat
could sprinkle like dew over all that may weep.
The silk of the petal upon the Path’s lasting way
could embrace and soften each journey’s bouquet.

“All The Tide’s Mist”, a poem by Linda Willows

Peace not leaving,
life receding.
Tides revealing,
hearts repealing.
Sands leave naked footprints stealing
vows to mark all time once printed
into fate, as if thus minted.

Peace not interrupted,
nor life corrupted
as some to pay some a future due.
Could the dawn have known the evening’s hue-
it would have held its’ breath for you.

Peace not leaving,
life receding.
All the tides
prepare to go.
Where they wander no one tells
but yonder dreams far place to fell
must capture the lost in such deep spell.

Peace not leaving,
life receding.
Come back, come forward, come life though.
Counting nothing, let all be.
Love finds the rhythm of the sea.
Float me with you; carry me too.
I’ll be light as mist dawning
dreaming tomorrow there again,
waking peace again with you.
