“A Raindrop’s Thirst”….a poem from L.Willows

When thunder runs through the skies to burst
My soul does surge with a raindrop’s thirst.
Like a bird set high above in the sky,
With a reach that covers in clouds set to fly.

Cast like a seeming droplet between
All earth and heavens view of the seen.
Wonder fills my sky soaked all…
Sweeping, soaring, through God’s Holy squall.

when I look to the skies, I am always reminded of the Vastness of God and His word:

Isaiah 37:16
“O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, who is enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth You have made heaven and earth”

“With Petals at Thy feet”….a poem by Linda Willows

Alive in your heavenly’s, all the flowers do bloom
the trees stand in grandeur,
they gaze through glory rooms.

All winds sway with mercies,
the lights shine upon Your way,
the airs whispers song….
in the soft wind to pray.

All twines round the Mount’s beauty,
were life reaches to meet…
like vines grown to render
the sweet hue of Love’s greet.

Find my heart there, Lord,
amidst petals at Thy feet…
washed in like dawns’ dewdrops
reflections, Lord, sweet.

Garnish holy vine
now with pearls of sea,
and send on this prayer, Lord, with petals from me.

“As I Fall Up”, a poem by Linda Willows

“As I Fall Up” ~a poem by Linda Willows

As I fall up
my arms stretch wide.
I feel a winged
sky born stride.

The clouds pass by
in mists that soar
and tumble round
soft Heaven’s door.

I wish no thing,
I want no more.
The moment’s Prayer
is all adore.

Falling up,
I shed, I leap.
The Glory Light
flies in-
I weep.

Find me -Worship,
in leaping skies
amidst clouds embracing
hearts that rise.

in celestial towers
of blue,
home I am,
again, with You.

As I fall up
my arms stretch wide
my heart, my all
lets Holy glide

This, the entry,
this, the call-
at the font of God’s enthrall.
