“All The Love That was Told”, a worship poem from L.Willows (Grace, Mercy, Hope)

All The Love That was Told

Facing the Beloved we ask, we long,
Seeking His Peace we hope, hearts hold on.
Throughout different journeys,
Throughout times that quest,
Here are His Children, held dear to His chest.

Strengthened by a faith that deepens with time.
Met with unmeasured amounts of Love’s brine.
Here in a valley that is softened by grace,
Here walk those tendered by mercy’s sweet pace.

Held by the Beloved, we pray, we see.
Seeking His Face, we live, walking free.
In places unknown, some new, some old-
there walk his Children that dare to be bold.
Caring, they share all the Love that was Told.

Genesis 28:15
Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

2 Corinthians 12:19
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

2 Corinthians 1:20-22
For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.  And it is God who establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, and who has also put his seal on us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

This, they are calling, this they agree.
Mercy, full mercy, see each heart’s plea.
From here to yonder, from far to most near.
Lives seek love’s tender, soft pouring on fear.

Not one alone nor, kept from God’s heart.
Each in His goodness, life from the start.
This we, they- all call, for His Spirit does hear.
The Alter of His Kingdom, so dear, so near.

Count us in the blessing, let all be called.
Bring full His mercy, let our hearts be enthralled.

From here to yonder, let all be Love filled.
As we, and all call, may His Spirit be tilled.

But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

 Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
