Heart of Peace

Oh, Soul, you surge, you arch above
with a gentle passion’s reach to Love.

For Heaven’s quest is nearer than
the length of love in the heart of man.

Find me turning, lead me Out
The Glory calls my name – Devout.

I hear the thunder of Joys’ rain,
Clouds part with wonder – Light to gain.

Oh Soul, do let my every part,
come forward, bow, and then depart.

Naked stillness forms the glove
of Godly Peace, surrendered to Love.

Whisper hope, call forth the same.
Lord of All, I call Your Name.

Colossians 1:20 – For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of His cross.

John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”

 Ezekiel 11:19  “And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh.”

In your lush green
I basque in peace seen.
Nature, your making,
becomes in love’s lean.

Sitting not lone
here in enthrall,
trees are called wondrous,
skies tell of all.

In your sweet green
I fall to a soft song,
swaying in rhythm;
the view is stretched long.

Sitting not lone
here in paradise sown,
God’s pew calls all to-
a love of his own.

Numbers 6:24-26
The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
