“Take Us To Church”, a worship poem from L.Willows (A Holy Temple, Christ Jesus, Belonging to God)

Take Us to Church

Take us to church this morning, this day.
Take all our hearts in a chorus that prays,
singing together in praises that say-
We belong to you forever, and cannot stay away.

In this Gathering-Home, Your own place alone,
we rest with you Jesus – from all of life’s roam.
Hushed in the midst of Your Spirit’s delight,
calmed in the Love of Your Kingdom’s invite.

Take us to church in the promise of Life.
Sanctify us as we gather through strife.
Bless every heart that enters Your Door.
that thirsts and drinks, and receives The Lord’s pour.

Psalm 100:3 —Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Ephesians 2:19-22 —So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.

John 10:9-10 -I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

“When Our Hearts See Jesus”, from L.Willows (Eternity’s Breath, Glory of God, Revival)

When our hearts see Jesus
We behold love’s Root.
All of our forever’s
wrap around in salute.

Here is our beginning,
the One that stood with
Father and Spirit
before Eternity’s breath.

Fathom the futures
that gaze from that Love,
extending embrace,
in the gift of His grace.

Holiness tendered
here for receiving-
Letting, love’s setting,
parted for such needing.

Thirst, we do thirst
and long to come home.
Rain full Lord’s Spirit,
refresh our hearts roam.

Lord, we walk towards you,
journeying still.
As we see Jesus,
the Way fills with Love’s till.

John 8:12 -“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 1:14 –” The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

Psalm 18:35 –“You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great.”

“Mercy’s All”….a poem by Linda Willows

Come forth, come out you whispered wail,
I hear the heart that pours the tale.
Memories tumble in haunted detail;
They hold, they sting, they cling to the veil.

Yet-“Forward leading, Love preceding…
All brings hope in the dawn of today.
Might receiving, Grace exceeding,
Lord, your yoke is Mercy’s way.”

We suffer the mortal humblings that gain
an entry to the threshold of glory, not pain.
Pray that our hearts be brave, never slain…
and victor of all of Thy Kingdom in Reign.

And-“Forward leading, Love preceding;
All bear the Name that heard His Call.
Mortal Hearts be lifted, gifted…
Suffer no more within Mercy’s All.”
