“Like a Wind that Runs Love”, a worship poem from L.Willows (Holy Blessings, Mercy, Freedom)

Blessings, come forward like a Wind that runs Love
Whispering, praying as thousands of doves.

Come, overtake us as a waterfall in the Day,
Calming horizons with heavenly ways.
Bear mercy for the suffering, their longings all met,
hearts set apart, with bend in the sun’s let.

Bring to the fore the Love that shines grace,
that fills every need and reveals Your embrace.
Yours is the Beginning, the End and then More,
all of our tomorrows, enter through Love’s Door.

Come, Holy Blessings as a rainfall that bursts,
that sweetens heart hopes, as The Father fills thirst.
Run towards us like a Wind of Love’s prayer freed
pouring Your Grace with Divine Intercede.

Deuteronomy 28:2 –“The Lord through Moses said, “And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the LORD your God.”

Romans 6:22 —The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.

“A Wind Through Reed’s Prayer”, worship poem from L.Willows

A Wind Through Reed’s Prayer

I have seen a place where we all rise
Where music awaits that lifts clouds to skies
All of the heavens are opened by gate
There in the roam of a paradise state.

Kept by a sweetness, I felt someone near
All of life’s friendships, everyone dear.
Touched by such heart-songs, there I could dance
All of the songs seemed called from life’s trance.

Here in the midst of such love, I was called
The joy of a river that worships, enthralled.
Stepping out from all that keeps us astray
A threshold beckoned and swept me away.

There were no tears in this quiet place bright
Sunshine of warmth beckoned all towards the light.
I cast off a shoe, then the other, then free
Soon I was dancing with another like me.

I remember the Motion that swept through me there
cast like some other; a wind through reed’s prayer.
This from a roam at some heavenly gate
I rose to a journey in the spirit’s elate.

Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

Psalm 30:11
You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.

“Life’s Thirst”, a worship poem by L.Willows

When love begins me
then I will be
filled with tomorrow’s
rising, set free.

In a vast forward
opened before
now and again
all beckons more.

When time recalls me
let love be first
wholly and only
called as life’s thirst.

But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.
Isaiah 43:1

We have been set free because of what Christ has done. Through his blood our sins have been forgiven. We have been set free because God’s grace is so rich.
Ephesians 1:7
