In near distance
you walk,
a life set free.
Glory, I see
the marks left in our tree.
In yesterday’s branches,
we all climbed so high
There in the mystery
you reached to the sky.
Oh, how I listened
and watched all that grew
Miracles all,
they seemed fastened
to you.
Wait,
can you see
very far from there?
Imagine a world
without time or care.
Found in the Forever
that dances somewhere
There to become,
to announce at God’s Door.
Open, say open-
Hearts of Love pour.
In near distance you walk,
a life set free
Glory, I see
the marks left in our tree.
Yesterday’s branches
still aching heart-breaking.
Soaking in the joy
of season’s time taking.
Yearning,
my heart
does reach like a child
Lifted beseech,
in God’s why reconciled.
