“At the Glory We Break, in Awe We are Stilled”, a worship poem by L.Willows

Silent the morning in light’s beautified slant,
each tree branch held bended
felled wanting in cupped thirst.
Leaves groomed in green lace
display sky and God’s verse
whispering prayers in Aroma, Hour’s first.

Surely for God,
the All, this made known.
Life swept aside
in a grandeur of Day.
Hearts silenced and heightened
Holy reaching, to His own
in the slant of light’s glimmer,
we are tended, we are grown.

At the Glory we break,
in awe- we are stilled.
Holy song’s blush
In the shade of Grace tree
Love reaches, falls softly
Upon prayer’s bended knee.

Psalm 17:6
I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray.

Psalm 116
I love the Lord because he hears my prayers and answers them. 2 Because he bends down and listens, I will pray as long as I breathe!
