Found in the Forever
In near distance
you walk,
a life set free.
Glory, I see
the marks left in the tree.
In yesterday’s branches,
we all climbed so high
There, in the mystery
you reached to the sky.
Oh, how I listened
and watched all that grew.
Miracles all,
they seemed fastened
to you.
Wait,
can you see
very far from there?
Imagine a world
without time or care.
Found in the Forever
that dances somewhere.
There to become,
to announce at God’s Door.
Open, pray open,
hearts of Love pour.
In the near distance, you walk,
a life set free.
Glory, I see
the marks left in our tree.
Yesterday’s branches
still aching heart-breaking.
Soaking in the joy
of season’s time taking.
Yearning,
my heart
does reach like a child
Lifted beseech,
in God’s sky, reconciled.
