“Running With The Wind”, a poem by L.Willows (Prayer, Kingdom of God, The Holy Spirit)

Running With The Wind

Leaping towards heaven in wondrous beseech
are the prayers of our hearts…
with such longing, they reach.

Held in the palm of God’s love in the sky’s deep,
they lift like archers
aiming towards The Kingdom’s Keep.

In the midst of it all, we mount not in vain,
There, everywhere,
God Reigns. God Reigns.

Running with the Wind, we sing out Holy praise.
There, in becoming with
The Joy of all days.

Sending, His Kingdom from a reach that reigns Love,
for all to re-gather
by His will from above.

Certain in the calling from His Name in the skies.
There we proclaim,
with our heart tears baptized.

Esther 8:17 — Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts.

Isaiah 57:15 —For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
