“Heart of Peace”, a poem by Linda Willows (Heart of God, Overcome, Blessing, True Joy)

Oh Soul, you surge, you arch in above
with a gentle passion’s reach to Love.

For Heavens’ quest is nearer than
the length of love in the Heart of Man.

Find me turning, lead me Out
The Glory called my name – Devout.

I hear the thunder of Joys’ rain,
Clouds part with wonder – Light to gain.

Oh Soul, do let the every part,
come forward, bow, and then depart.

Naked stillness forms the glove
of Godly Peace, surrendered to Love.

John 14:27 – “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”

John 16:33 – “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Matthew 5-1-48 –“Seeing the crowds, he went up on the mountain, and when he sat down, his disciples came to him. And he opened his mouth and taught them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. …”
