I go back to this worship poem from a while ago and I am grateful for the moment – it was true then but it grows deeper for me and becomes more of a calling as time walks forward…
With a Love That Outlasts
The evening shifts, the clouds reform.
I watch a passing storm transform.
Like the heart through seasons of,
this, the life that journeys Love.
In the beauty of God’s wondrous heart;
here we fasten, there we start.
Such are the oceans that open invite,
this sky of sweet bidding and joyous delight.
In the calm of a peace that stills our all.
Here my heart rests. Here my soul calls.
God in the answers; in a silence that asks-
He fills all the spaces with a Love that outlasts.
