Standing on Rock in a river that runs
Rushing, the waters – they dance to a sum.

“Our light, that light, can you see it, are you there?
Do you hear us, did you see that, the callings, the cares?
In life’s mist asunder, we are gathered, hearts bared
in the thunder, struck from stillness, bearing our wares.”

Hearts filled with prayer swept full in the passing,
living towards Love in the Glory Outlasting.
Lead us, precede us, the ones in such waiting.
Still, all the voices with the murmur pulsating.

Gather us Peace, light us as Yours
Run through our rivers with waters that pour.
Keep our hearts as Your children at home, at home.
Never to question, to be lost nor to roam.

Give lanterns that guide all safe through the Night.
Touch every heart and bless us with sight.

Holy Beloved, lift all, each one to hope’s bright,
Your Glory outlasts, we belong to Your Light.
