“Whispering Futures”, a worship poem from L.Willows (The Joy, God’s Presence, Root of Jesus, The Vine)

TREE0543_2018-1

<

There rises a Tree, tall and strong
branched wide, they stretch far and long.
Aching not breaking, seeking the Sun’s light.
Found in the midst of a deep forest’s blight.

“Weep no more, come beside my shade
beneath the earth’s deepened root’s glade.
listen to the stories, reaching to tell-
cupped in God’s Spirit, watered well.”

Clouds run to treetops, they gather to sing,
whispering futures that angel harps ring.
Mists rise from root to branches that sway,
There, comes tomorrow -in the Light of new Day.

In the joy of the last weeping, all stand tall to tell,
“Of the Tree that rises, tall and strong
branches wide, they stretch far and long,
aching not breaking, in His Spirit, found well.

The new Morning Star Testifies of the Root
Gathering, atop amidst the clouds billowing pursuit,
Branching that reach, in joyous flight home-
bearing the mercies of Love’s Godly roam.

Whispering futures from long ago gift..
Clouds float to treetops that reach angel songs drift.
Aching not breaking, we are drawn to the Sun’s Light
Home There -rises Root, that bears God’s Invite.

Revelation 22:16 -“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”

Zechariah 8:12 —or there shall be a sowing of peace. The vine shall give its fruit, and the ground shall give its produce, and the heavens shall give their dew. And I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.

Revelation 2:7 —He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.’
