Life in God’s Keep
Oh, Joy,
From where do you rise-
larger than life’s birth,
more than the sum of
all measured worth.
Sweeter than all-love,
greater than gifts;
you come in a river
like water that drifts.
Here, in my hearts’ breath.
Here in the deep.
Here in the hush of,
prayers that sing-weep.
Joy in such wonder.
Joy breaks to leap,
All parts to praise-thunder,
Life in God’s keep.

Psalm 16:11
You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
John 17:13
But now I am coming to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
John 15:11
These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.
