“Called by Spring”, a poem from L.Willows (God’s Beauty, New Mercies)

Sink my heart in the beauty of
Springtime grasses, into blossoms’ love.
All that whispers life anew
Seeking softy, the dawn, the dew.

Wearing sunshine on tips of buds
there, in joyful hope, I see
all of life in a reverie.

Sink my heart in the beauty of
this, the warmth that blossoms love.
Sweetened wonders, that rise in lift.
There I walk in such mystery’s drift
Soaked in color, hues that sing-
songs from nature, calling by spring.

Isaiah 43:18-19
