In times so pressing, we lean in, we need,
hearts cupped with wanting,
for belonging, life’s creed.
Here in the midst of
hours formed to days,
Love calls for our witness,
Love seeks our ways.

With all unfolding, before us, we ask,
What can we do now
What will outlast?
Here in the midst of
all of our need.
Hearts cupped with wanting,
call Love’s intercede.

God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
Psalm 46:5

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10
