“A Praise That Opens Like a Rainbow Before me” from LWillows

PrasingHisGloryBeloved
I am Praising. Praising with the fullness of hâlal! My heart dances and sings with joy for The Lord for His Faithfulness and His Grace, I am in awe of the fullness of His Love. My prayers have been answered with miracles, my heart’s whisperings have been known in detail and seen beyond the measure of my imagination. The Lord’s kindness has reached every corner of my soul. He dried up my tears with comfort and sweet nearness unlike anything in this world and restored me. My gratitude sings and dances a praise that opens like a rainbow before me. Holy worship of Our King! May all of heaven and earth hear His Glorious Name!

Psalm 149
Let them praise (hâlal) His name with dancing and make music to Him with timbrel and harp.

Halal is a wondrous word from the Old Testament.
Strong’s #1984: halal (pronounced haw-lal’)
a primitive root; to be clear (orig. of sound, but usually of color); to shine; hence, to make a show, to boast; and thus to be (clamorously) foolish; to rave; causatively, to celebrate; also to stultify:–(make) boast (self), celebrate, commend, (deal, make), fool(- ish, -ly), glory, give (light), be (make, feign self) mad (against), give in marriage, (sing, be worthy of) praise, rage, renowned, shine.

Let my praising come to a fullness then. I want to live the “halal” of it as an ongoing experience. Halal is a verb. If I would shine in praise how would it shine from my heart? If it would give light from my life what would that look like? As it celebrates what are it’s tangible elements in me- in living, what is the tangible celebration?

What would the song of it sound like? What does praise hear when I wake each new day? How does this precious song sing of His Name as each hour as it gives Him Glory? Do I hear The Lord my God singing to me as described in Zephaniah 3:17-20? I am in His Presence. The Lord is rejoicing over me with gladness, He is quieting me with love and lifting me with exultant joy.

He sings to me! He sings to me!! It is taught that He sings uniquely to each of us. Specifically. It seems impossible but God, the Lord that I am praising is so wondrous. He is The God that created all Life, breathed all into being- Yes, He can sing in a miraculous way into each of our hearts.

Zephaniah 3:17-20
17 The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.

                -and with the exceeding gratitude, joy, and praise of Halal, we sing to The Lord.

Psalm 96:1-4
Worship in the Splendor of Holiness
1 Oh sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth!
Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day.
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.
