“THere I am Gazing, Here I am Kept”, a worship poem from LWillows

When, while – I fathom all in Your care
The moon, the stars, each day born in light’s air…
There I am gazing and here I am kept
Into the worship of heaven’s lift swept.

Still and sweet, such moments become
Wrapped in the beauty of a silken peace won.
There I am gazing and here I am kept,
all in the Grace of Love’s deep intercept.

When, while – I fathom Your vast
my heart soars in such a winged view cast.
O Lord in Your heavens, I am awe stunned.
Am captured, enraptured, holy given, love-spun.

“Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12:28).

“Jesus answered, ‘It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’” (Luke 4:8).
