When thunder runs through the skies to burst
My soul does surge with a raindrop’s thirst.
Like a bird set high above in the sky,
With a reach that covers in clouds set to fly.
Cast like a seeming droplet between
All earth and heavens view of the seen.
Wonder fills my sky soaked all…
Sweeping, soaring, through God’s Holy squall.

when I look to the skies, I am always reminded of the Vastness of God and His word:
Isaiah 37:16
“O LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, who is enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth You have made heaven and earth”
