His Kingdom so Near
How brightly did the thunder part,
an evening prayer lifted in trusting Love’s start.
The rains fell brightly upon my heart
when all turned to face You, for sacred impart.
Answers lone, how they come between
This mortal life’s pause, only then to be seen.
Holy moments brought in a flood of Grace
Known, Enthroned by His Love’s embrace.
When lost to all that comforts here…
We wander through storms grim in appear;
But found in the quake of the fall of all fear,
All wake to Love, His Kingdom so Near.
