“His Kingdom so Near”, a poem by Linda Willows

Levitation Under the Stars

His Kingdom so Near

How brightly did the night thunder part,
my evening prayer lifted into Love’s start.
The rains fell brightly upon this heart
as all turned to face You Lord-for sacred impart.

Answers my God, how they come in-between
our mortal life’s pause and then rarely seen.

Holy moments brought in a flood of Grace
Known and enthroned by Your Love’s embrace.

When lost to all that comforts here,
We wander through storms grim in appear;
But found in the quaking that shakes our fear,
We wake to God’s Love, His Kingdom so Near.

Holy, such moments brought in flood of such Grace
Known and enthroned by Your Love’s embrace.
