Home. Lost or dream wept. It is ours to be kept.
The light does reach those corners yet.
Such shadows stretch, some darkly set,
abandoned like a long due debt.
The door may creak, it weathered much.
Oh kindly try, it aches for the touch.
Mark the dust as long history crests.
It sparkles like gold in the shine of one test.
Call them again, let them return,
They who lost all and forgave not the burn.
God does look in and wrap round Eden’s blue,
The mystery days will recall Love’s Rescue.
Pray us home, Lord.
Let history be birth’s new.
Forgive our lost way,
as we come Home to You.

i’m sure that with cancer ruling the skies, i’m extra weepy today – but this just touched my soul in such a special way this morning, miss linda. i needed it. i’ve missed you – i don’t think wordpress was putting you on the top of my reader list for a while there. i’ve been feeling very nostalgic for “home” and i wish heaven would hurry up and get here so we can all stop suffering. so much love to you, beautiful.

Such beauty, Linda. No one brings emotion to words as you do. I have missed you so much, my friend. And yet, here you are. Everybody has to leave, everybody has to leave their home and come back so they can love it again for all new reasons. Welcome back. I love you! ~ Always, Bobbie

You are so right, my dear friend. I love you always. I can only “follow” poems not the other way around and they dictate my activity. My heart feels such home here with so many friends and souls that breath together in Love.

Thank you so much, Peter…this one, etched itself out, it scratched and scraped and pulled…willing to imagine new words along the way, so desperate to express. The photo, an indication of a phrase……but we both know that we long for the chance to be forgiven, to repent, call the Heavens back at all cost, turn the skies and We to Eden’s Blue….a chance to Love through darkness, loss…each, me and you.
