Love Revival ~ the mound of God’s Pew, by Linda Willows

Love tenders itself back again
Found and found new.
Swells into a heart’s reaching
the soft mound of God’s pew.

Tender hands press
to warm
earthen clay
mellowed by waters,
waves rushed to the fore.

Callings, prayers, whispers
and a weeping full let.
All in the break of
Atonement’s reset.
Soaked in the tides of
tender reprieve. Formed
in new mold by Loves tender hold.
This is the refining
of a hearts’ greatest gold.

O Bless the revival
of Love
in such seasons
We find our homecoming
are purposed, see meanings.

Love tenders itself back again
Swells into heart reaching
the mound of God’s pew.
Hand of The Beloved
pressed to warm earthen clay
Lost, given, forgiven…
All on this day.

  2. Thank you! yes, especially today and all the special things that you mentioned, they are so dear, so Essential! it seems to have taken a lifetime to have really gained these gems…but truly freeing and genuinely cherished! Love, Linda

  3. This poem is like a watercolour being created in the moment. Actually I have no words…
It`s this breath´s fresh memory remembered by the inner sea…
I hear the pearls of no tomorrows…quite amazing.

Did you take the picture as well…?

    1. very insightful, Julien…it is created in “the moment”, that is part of my particular creative process though not traditional at all! Thank you for your comment. I am not a photographer myself I search for all of the photos that I use, at great length and usually work with the photo before publishing….

  4. Wow, I love this! A song of hope love with a blush of innocence, of the grace of a new day. This is beautiful, dear friend. ~ Love to you, Julie xoxox
