The Dance
Turn me, move me. Dance through me once more.
I want to spin until my heart begins to pour.
Lift my arms as I move until I cry
And let the muse that carried me fly
Free my limbs and being into motion divine
Let the music, its maker, take all that is mine.
Release the dance that my memory keeps
It was all to me, a love held too deep.
Let it go, let it dance, turn around, feel this chance.

Wonderful, Linda. I really love this poem of yours. These lines are just stunning:
“Lift my arms as I move until I cry
And let the muse that carried me fly”
